Uncommon Seeds
for Ecological Conservation Across New England
Our collection of free seeds are from the native flora of New England, featuring as the name suggests, endangered to uncommon native seeds.
Spreading and Gathering Seeds
We think it is important to note our methods of collecting seeds, as it is to ensure and promote biodiversity for our native flora & fauna.
Our methods of collecting seeds are simple:
1. Leave remaining seeds for wildlife
2. Spread the seeds around before gathering
Often times, it is important to remind yourself to avoid gluttony when collecting, as like I was, when I was reminded with a slap to the wrist by a mighty White Oak (acorn fell straight onto the back of my hand,) while I was selfishly gathering too much Panicled-leaf Tickrefoil seeds (Desmodium paniculatum).
